Horsforth Museum presented with a certificate by the Lord Mayor of Leeds June 2016

Nice morning out to the Civic Hall where a jolly Mayor Councillor Gerald Harper presented many volunteer groups with a certificate. We were all very proud, thank you Leeds.

Original Woodside Tavern Horsforth. Day out for the locals c 1934

The original Woodside Tavern c1934 with the locals setting off on a day trip for the children. The original Woodside Tavern was on Low Lane at the top of Oakford Terrace in the Broadgate Lane junction area of Low Lane. You can see the date stone from the buildings built as a farm by Abraham Marshall.
